Vertical Marketing List Manager – Maywood

We are offering an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Bergen County corporate headquarters in Maywood, NJ as our Vertical Marketing List Manager.

With thorough competency in list segmentation, testing, analysis and in merge/purge or private database design and implementation, this key team member will assume responsibility for the evaluation, recommendation and coordination of List requirements for the Vertical Marketing Marketing SBU, including customer database analysis and prospecting targets via direct mail or telemarketing. The successful candidate will utilize a minimum of 5 years experience in a direct marketing environment to compile, analyze and evaluate list performance from previous promotional efforts by type of product and promotion. The Manager will meet with list brokers to review and develop types of lists for use in the vertical marketing initiative, develop partnership ideas to be pursued and coordinate list requirements from those partnership programs. Additionally, this individual will research and identify other sources of customers for the vertical market beyond what has already been identified, research, develop and recommend test offers (both from the creative and product development side) to be utilized with various vertical marketing targets and analyze Myron files to determine customer profiles. Further responsibilities include selecting the lists to be used for promotional activities, coordinating list timing with product managers and telemarketing managers, working closely and communicating with the Director of Global Prospect Marketing to ensure developed lists are coordinated into other Myron mailings for efficiency and cost optimization, as well as other related duties as required.

Requirements:

The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in business/marketing (MBA preferred) along with exceptional Excel, interpersonal and communication skills. 5+ years experience in a direct marketing position, preferably in a business-to-business industry, experience in direct mail prospecting, including list selection, modeling, merge/purge or private database imperative. Requires working knowledge and experience with operational and order fulfillment workflow.
